As a named supplier, the Edinburgh-headquartered company, can now offer WAN data access services, LAN services, digital communications services, and contact centre to public sector organisations in the UK.
The new agreement builds on the success of its predecessor, Network Services 2, continuing to offer core network services such as site-to-site and site-to-cloud (wide area network), satellite and 5G connectivity, as well as local area wireless network access, and unified communication solutions.
NS3 provides a complete range of network services from network infrastructure to fully integrated communication suites and supports the government’s “cloud first” initiatives aimed at enabling public internet connectivity solutions, and migration off the Public Sector Network (PSN),
Steve Wood, Commsworld Group Sales Director, said: “Being named a supplier on the NS3 framework is a huge endorsement of the services which we provide at Commsworld.
“It shows that all public sector bodies can trust that the services and solutions we offer meet the rigorous high standards which the Crown Commercial Service expects from the companies it lists.
“This listing is not only a continuation of NS2, but gives Commsworld an opportunity to build on our success in the public sector. It supports our long-term strategy of expanding further into England and provide them with high-quality services that are resilient, reliable, and good value for money.”
Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2022/23, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £3.8 billion – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
