Commsworld CEO Ricky Nicol Wins PwC Regional Qualifiers

3rd June 2016

Commsworld is delighted to announce that our CEO and co-founder Ricky Nicol has won the Scottish regional qualifiers for the PwC Private Business Awards for the CEO category.

Now in its sixth year, the Awards are set up to recognise success and achievement within the vast number of private businesses in the UK. Being presented to the UK’s most successful private companies, entrepreneurs and management teams, the Awards are often referred to as “the Diamonds”.

This is a great achievement for Commsworld and Ricky where more than 70 nominees were spread across 10 categories in Scotland alone. “It was such an honour to be nominated in the first instance but to go and win the CEO category for Scotland is an incredible achievement.” said Ricky.

“We are extremely proud to be top of the CEO category and it is an honour to be benchmarked alongside other great Scottish qualifiers such as Skyscanner Ltd, TVSquared, The Edinburgh Woollen Mill and Barrhead Travel to name a few. I personally would like to say congratulations to them all and good luck in their categories for the next stage.”

Ricky Nicol’s recognition in this category is testament to the role model and successful business leader that he is and his commitment to Commsworld and bringing the best Next Generation Network to the business community.
